The largest and most famous of these islands is the island of Porquerolles, the pearl of the Golden Islands, with its 7 kilometers long and 2.5 kilometers wide. It can therefore be easily visited on foot or by bicycle<\/strong>. Protected since 2012 by the status of National Park<\/strong>, it offers beautiful landscapes and impressive biodiversity.
